About Me

"There are some things one can only achieve by a deliberate leap in the opposite direction." ~ Franz Kafka

If you told me 20+ years ago my passion would be learning, practicing and teaching about anatomy, movement and healing, I certainly would never have believed you. I started my professional life in accounting and finance, putting in long hours, stressing about deadlines, checking email at all hours...doing all the things one does when trying to advance their career.

Except I wasn't happy. In fact, I was kinda miserable.

Then, I found yoga and it set me on a completely different trajectory.

Today, I'm a certified yoga teacher, yoga therapist and a licensed massage therapist. I love learning about the body and movement, and am fascinated with all the amazing research that's going on  today around fascia, corrective exercise and movement. I love working with my clients putting my analytical skills to work helping them understand patterns of tension, how it's affecting their movement or vise versa, how their habitual movement patterns are creating tension and what they can do about it. I love sharing what I know and educating my clients in ways that empower them to take charge of their own health.

It makes me happy to hear my clients say our work together

has made a difference in their lives.

I am convinced we don't have to fall victim to illness, injury or the aging process. We start where we stand and work on being better today than we were yesterday.
Not gonna lie, it requires willingness and commitment,  but if you're tired of feeling restricted or being in pain, there is hope!

Have faith in yourself, learn what you need to learn and do the work.

You'll feel better, move better and live better!
